Not authentic and super basic. Very western. Panda Express would be way better. Will try China town for better options.

I must be insane to eat only at chinese places in Europe, but #tightbudgetproblems. While walking down the narrow but lively streets of Amsterdam, I noticed this restaurant where other asian people would eat too. So this got me curious. I decided to come back next day to give it a try. Their menu is fairly simple, and broken down by what kind of meat you want. I opted for a plate of shrimp with an extra for fried rice. I have to admit that the lady taking my order spoke to me in Mandarin and I struggled to reply to her. Was able to understand 70% of it before giving up, but that's beyond the point here.
The food itself: portion was good enough to satisfy your hunger until the next meal. Taste-wise, it tasted just like what you would expect from a family-run restaurant - a feels-like home taste (which is a positive thing). There are a few tables inside and outside the restaurant where you can sit down do eat.
Overall, a nice place to eat good chinese food, in the heart of Amsterdam.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 16 dec 2019
Tiny place near the central station. The deal here is you can order either a chicken, beef, shrimp, or tofu dish, pick between one of five sauces, and they serve it with veggies and rice. I ordered the tofu/veggies with gong bau sauce, which was quite intensely spicy. Portions aren't big, but for €6.25, it's reasonable. Fairly tasty but low on the authenticity scale. Good place for a quick, cheap Asian-style meal.

This cheery small restaurant offered some of the best Asian food that I have ever tried. It was sad to see that it was right across from Wok to Walk since that place was so busy.
This restaurant had reasonably priced menu items and everything was made fresh. The Jasmin white rice was cooked perfectly, and the meal came together very well.
When looking for Asian food in Amsterdam, this is your place!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Bjoern S.Keulen, Duitsland011127 nov 2019
Authentic Chinese cuisine it said, mostly true I would argue. Small shop very close to central with a Chinese atmosphere, nothing special but the food speaks for it self. Properly spicy, however some taste is still missing when comparing it with original Chinese food.
But overall a good recommendation!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hannah P.Piedmont, Verenigde Staten4491916 okt 2018
Excellent AFFORDABLE option in a not-so-affordable city. The food is simple, classic, and well made. The tofu dishes are particularly good, with high quality tofu sliced very thin. Definitely a vegetarian / vegan friendly place. I ended up coming here twice after a few disappointing experiences with other restaurants.
Only downside is that there's no bathroom.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ray Chen C.Helsingborg, Zweden30113717 sep 2016
Nice taste, fast, less expensive considering the location and convenient.
Would be a good choice during a long walk in the city.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Debby L.San Francisco, Verenigde Staten531783525 dec 2016
Very friendly Asian family from BeiJing, China. Very small establishment, but perfect if you're hungry and on the go. I was here around five months ago and randomly thought of this restaurant. I ate here twice during my 4 day trip in Amsterdam. They don't have a public restroom by the way.

Ate here a couple of times while in town. Family owned, tiny establishment that serves great asian cuisine. One lady takes your order and one gentleman behind the wok cooks it in front of you. Very reasonably priced and good portions. I'll be back!

Just overnighting in Amsterdam and craved Chinese food after weeks of Mediterranean dishes. Found this little restaurant. Food was great. Simple menu with choice of sauces. Across the street from cooler looking Wok to Walk. Couldn't have been more happy with my choice of eaterie.
