Looking to make your event professional and exceed your guests' expectations? Then give Union Street Papery (USP) an opportunity to print quality and beautiful reception stationary for your event.
I spoke and shared our ideas with Stacey (Owner) 3-4 weeks prior to our event and she was exceptional to work with. I provided her all the text content via email and she shared proofs of her ideas for all the reception stationary via email prior to approval.
When my husband and I saw all the final products, we were so thrilled and excited for our event. Yes, reception stationary does add beauty to an event like a dinner party. When our guests checked-in to the hotel, they received a beautiful envelope with an itinerary prepared by USP. When they arrived to their rooms, a "Welcome" card prepared by USP was placed next to their welcome gift. When they arrived to the dinner event, USP made such beautiful name place cards, individual dinner menus and hors-d'œuvre station menus. To cap off the night, a beautiful "Thank You" card made by USP was placed by the final gift bags.
Not only did our guests complimented on the event over all, but many shared their praises on the printing work done by Union Street Papery. I will definitely hire them again to create beauty and exquisite stationary for our future events. Thank you Stacey and Union Street Papery!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 9 dec 2017
This is literally the cutest store ever. It's tucked away off Union Street, down a little tunnel next to a courtyard....swoon. They used to have lots of different stationery, etc... But now they are a bridal stationer only. Their products are gorgeous! If I was getting married again I would come here for sure. Classy, elegant and beautiful bridal papers....

I cannot speak more highly of Union Street Papery. They walked my wife and I through the entirety of our wedding stationary suite, from the Save the Dates all the way through the Thank You notes. They have always been incredibly responsive, and extremely flexible -- for example, we moved mid-way through the process, and they were more than willing to discuss on the phone as often as we wanted, and arranged shipping without any fuss!
It's a tragedy that we've moved away from San Francisco, but I would say that, even all the way from Chicago, we will continue to patronize Union Street. Thank you!!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Klarissa M.Los Angeles, Verenigde Staten01611 dec 2018
AMAZING stationary store.
This little store has the most beautiful stationary ever. I love the atmosphere also. I got personalized, initialized stationary here and ALWAYS get compliments on both the design of the lettering and the quality of the actual paper (Crane's.) I knew what I had in mind before I got to the store but the salesperson helped me actually pick it out of the 1000s of options they have. Be aware though --- IT'S VERY EXPENSIVE.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Stephanie L.Fremont, Verenigde Staten561517 feb 2022
We are so happy our internet sleuthing brought us to Union Street Papery/Stacey. She helped us with a lot of different paper needs, particularly the invitations - my close friend drew a graphic for us to include on the invitation and RSVP card, and she was able to incorporate the graphic and offer comprehensive guidance and advice about the entire suite. We were really impressed with how responsive and professional Union Street Papery was - they demonstrated a clear commitment to the client's visions. Also, the quality of the paper was awesome! We actually got A LOT of comments about that (we used textured cotton and double ply for the invites). They also helped us make thank you notes to place on top of the dinner plates, as well as a menu - and Stacey created these beautiful products that worked in harmony with our invitations.

This review is for Ashlee (my main point of contact @ the store) and Mo (in house calligrapher/artist).
They created my custom wedding invites, engagement party invites, and all of the menus, tables names, etc. for the wedding itself. I've attached photos of the wedding invite - INSANE! Mo did all of the design, calligraphy, and drew the photos based off of pictures I gave her of the venues.
Ashlee helped design the engagement invite and all of the misc. pieces we needed for the wedding. She is so talented, and full of helpful ideas.
In short - the ladies @ Union Street Papery made this process incredible, and something I actually enjoyed. They were easy to reach, super fast with turning things around, and wonderful to collaborate with on all of the designs. Plus, for what I ended up with the price was definitely reasonable.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 18 jul 2016
My favorite card shop in the city! They have the best selections in my opinion. They have alot of other paper goods for decorating as well as lovely stationary. The staff are all very friendly and helpful as well.

Aww sad to see people turned off by the service. I rarely notice poor service...since I'm Chinese and we're cool with bad service. So I never rate service unless it really really irks me. And that takes a lot.
Anyhow, so I don't think any of the salespeople talked to me or my friends when we walked in either, but we didn't even notice. We were too blown away by all the cards and the cute stuff here.
And geebus, I have never seen so many of those knockknock.biz checklist pads! I see a lot of them in Berkeley, but this place has even more.
I loved the "Sorry" cards section...the wedding invitations...especially the hand-drawn maps. There was one that was super cute and showed a cartoon map with certain landmarks blown out of proportion and labeled like, "Stanford - Joe's college" and "Someplace - where Joe and Mary met" or whatever. Is it illegal for me to post a picture of it? Haha...
If the prices are good, maybe I'll get my wedding invites here. But that won't be for a looooong time...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 14 mrt 2012
Love this place! My friend and I stumbled across this little treasure this afternoon. It's located at the end of a cute little alleyway tucked in the middle of a charming shopping district. It's like a secret garden!
It's a fairly small place but the selection they offer is top notch. They offer everything from independent designers to Kate Spade and Crane. Plus the ladies who work here are super nice. I'll definitely be back!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 588601307726 feb 2014
I thought this place was adorable! It's nestled behind the street with a "Secret Garden" feel before you walk in. I only spent about 15 minutes in the store, but I really like the set up. It's very cute! I loved all the cards I saw. There was even a sale section with $1.95 cards marked down from $4/ 5!! Now, if there's anything I like, it's definitely quality cards for a good price! This may be biased because I'm a sucker for stationary stores.
I definitely want to come back to explore it more!! I would encourage others to come too!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
