Comfort Suites

This review is written based on being a 3 star hotel. If you are expecting luxury, this is not it. The wonderful things about this hotel is that it is close to the tram line in Rue de l'Université and next to a discount supermarket Lidl, which are in walking distance. The hotel staff is amazing. The rooms are very clean and they have a small kitchenette in each room. If you are in Lyon, there are so many wonderful farmers markets and gourmet stores that you can cook an excellent breakfast or lunch. The kitchenette has dishes, pots, pans, glasses and silverware to make easy small meals. The bed was extremely comfortable and they had extra pillows that were very comfortable. They also supply umbrellas in the lobby for your stay! I really loved that because it rained a few mornings in Lyon. It made life easy without having to go to the store to buy one. The four star rating is for cleanliness, staff and the essential amenities that you need if you are seeking a low key hotel.

We had a great experience with that hotel the staff was really helpful, the beds comfortable and the sheets clean. Got a big room with a small kitchen to cook our own stuff when we didn't feel like going out. it's just a 15 minute walk from the center of Lyon but you can also take public transportation. Great city, great hotel for a great deal what else can I say
