Hyde Park is truly fantastic.
Was staying close to here when in London, and ended up running around the area a few times. Plenty of places to go, flowers to see, and treats to get (after the run).Helpful 14Thanks 2Love this 14Oh no 0 - Sabrina A.Philadelphia, Verenigde Staten11652 jan 2024

Hyde Park was one of my very first stops upon moving to London, and for that, it will always have a special place in my heart.
Like most parks in the city, Hyde Park is a great place to walk, jog, read, picnic, or hang with friends.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 27 mrt 20241 check-in
If the weather is nice, this is a MUST!! This park is stunning and is great for walking and running. We had a lovely walk through the park in the late afternoon enjoying the greenery and everything around us. We were there during the tail end of winter, so I am sure in the spring that it is even prettier. We walked almost the entire length of the park and back which was so nice. The lake has lots of birds for those that enjoy that and want to see them. I highly recommend going to the park if you're visiting London and have the time.

Hyde Park was founded in 1637 and is 350 acres large in Westminster, London. It is the largest of the park & forms a chain from Kensington Palace through Kensington Gardens, Buckingham Palace to St James's Park.
This park has a lot of history, but today we could visit the marble arch, go to the speakers corner, ride a horse on rotten row, tour Apsley House from 1871, stand under the Wellington Arch, admire the Queen Elizabeth Gate, ride a boat on Serpent Lake, visit both galleries, find the Diana Memorial Fountain, visit the holocaust memorial, find the reformers tree ...
Many concerts have been held on the parade grounds. During the summer there is swimming in Serpent Lake & at Christmas time there's a Winter Wonderland here. It was a sunny day & I enjoyed a stroll.Helpful 7Thanks 1Love this 7Oh no 0 - 23 jul 2023
One of the largest parks in London, there's a lot to Hyde Park. Well maintained trails weave throughout the park by monuments, memorials, gardens, and other fun finds. There are restrooms that cost 20 pence via credit card. There's also a playground my six-year-old daughter enjoyed south of the pond with paddle boats.

Iconic park in London with fun statues (like Peter Pan featured in the Hook movie starring Robin Williams) or significant memorials (like Princess Diana's fountain or the Queen Victoria); not to mention the awesome Kensington Palace & Gardens.
There is a lake with paddle boats and several bike stations for rent.
There are a few kiosks dispersed around the park which sells hot drinks, snacks and ice cream.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 27 dec 20223 check-ins
Take a rejuvenating walk in the park. Re-energize!
One of my favorite parks to walk and refresh my tired bones. Diving into the living green is healing in so many ways. Every city should require a park. It is the living soul of the concrete Jungle.
For public transportation, many buses stop here as well as an Underground metro station. I like to arrive at Paddington Train Station and take a pleasant walk to the Serpentine in the park.

A must see if you are in London and want some greenery. Quite often you will walk through a little bit of this huge park on route to other destinations and sightseeing whilst in London. Its worthy of a visit.

This is still one of my favorite city parks of all time. It's almost entirely flat and there's so many beautiful spots to explore. There are gardens, a lake, beautiful monuments, the Princess Diana memorial, and more. There's a cafe along the lake, many benches, and cute lawn chairs for rent. While London is usually rainy, I'd love to have a picnic here one day and spend the whole day here. A must-visit when in London!

With miles of walking paths, millions of flowers, hundreds of benches and loads of entertaining ducks, I can't help but give it five stars.
I love how there are so many benches placed around the beautiful gardens, allowing you to sit and truly enjoy them. There's trellises, ivy, ponds...everything and I find it so important to have an emphasis on nice parks for such a large city. A lovely place.
The Princess Diana Memorial is also located in the center of this park; an important part of history.
