Haley's Flowers

I'm not a flowers and chocolate kind of girl by any means, but this little boutique made me wish I was!

While randomly walking past the bright and cheery Haley's Flowers, I couldn't help by notice a funky twiggy vase that I thought would look pretty awesome in my classroom. Like usual, curiosity got the best of me so I went inside to check it out. While browsing around, I chatted with the super sweet lady working that afternoon as she crafted a beautiful arrangement. When I discovered that the vase I was eyeing had silk flowers permanently attached to it, the lady stopped what she was doing and ran to the back of the store and came back with two different sizes of my beloved twiggy vase! In this case, two was definitely better than one!

As I made my way to the cash register I kept getting distracted by the gorgeous and unique arrangements throughout the shop. From casual to formal there seemed to be an option for just about every occasion. For a split second I thought about buying myself an arrangement, but seeing that I was with my mom who ever so lovingly has dubbed "Another Saturday Night" by Cat Stevens as my song (thanks mom) I opted not to subject myself to the sarcastic comments that would occur if I did!

Now I am determined to go back to pick up an arrangement, but next time I am going by myself! Hmm...I wonder if they are open Saturday nights?!?

I have found my florist!

I am new to the area and was really late ordering flowers for my wife for Valentine's Day (5pm the evening before - ouch). I did a quick search and called Haley's. The lady was super friendly. She took my order and assured me that the roses would be delivered the next day. I stretched my luck and requested that they be delivered in the morning. She said she would try but couldn't promise. I really didn't expect it but thought I would ask.

The roses were delivered at 10am on Valentine's Day! The delivery man was a nice guy. The roses were beautiful. My wife loved them! Thanks Haley's.
