I had a scoop of the Cookies gelato (it's a Biscoff-type cookie, not like cookies & cream flavour) on a cone! It was good, very smooth! Lots of the cookie crumb mix-in which I always like. Pretty cheap too - 1 scoop for €1,80! The person who helped us was cheery.
They have a pretty standard selection of flavours for scoops and gelato cups, and they also have some cakes available. Looks like theres sandwiches and other savoury stuff if you're looking to have a meal there.

This ice cafe is near the fountain with the crazy looking sculpture. They have outdoor seatings, as well as two levels indoors, beautifully decorated, if it's not the weather for al fresco.

Their menu is quite extensive, they have sandwiches and stuff if you want a meal, and plenty of drink options too, but of course ice cream is their special. They have many varieties of sundaes, which brings back sweet childhood memories for me. They also have spaghetti ice cream, though my German friends scoffed at that, "well, who wants spaghetti ice cream? They are everywhere!" So I didn't get to try it... even though I haven't seen any place in Miami offering that. (I did have it before in Asia... so do we need Columbus to bring that over to America?)

This place is cash only.

On our little walk back from dinner, my co-worker spotted this cute little ice cream shop. Instantly he perked up and said, "you know what sounds good right now?? Ice cream!" So the story of the little ice cream shop begins.

It was raining at the time we came to this shop and ice cream was far what I totally thought was appropriate at the moment. But since it's a group thing,, why not?

I ordered that Strachiatella ice cream which is chocolate chip ice cream, and happens to be my favorite flavor of yogurt in europe. Yes it was really, really good. Not overly sweet and delectably creamy, I was having a good time eating my treat. And with €1.00 a scoop, you can't beat that with a stick.

It was a perfect walk back treat and dessert at the same time. I really enjoyed my scoop of ice cream. I'm sure you will too.

Spontaneity is what makes life worth it.

A nice stop for a cold treat! The gelato was quite good, even if not quite authentic Italian - they didn't even have Hazelnut! But the bacio was good. And chocolate was so creamy!! Definitely going back
