Carluccio's

Service was quick and friendly and we got our meals very quickly.
The Tina nicoise I had was really good - although there's a lot there so it took a while to eat.
Good portions and fairly priced - recommended.

One of many Carluccio's in town this on is located inside Waterloo Station up on the first floor overlooking the destination boards. The inside is the usual, nice and comfy one, however, this one is extremely drafty due to the proximity to the tracks. Whenever the doors open which happens every few seconds the whole café seems to shiver. Keep your jackets on! I had a wonderful Egg Benedict (bacon instead of salmon, but hey, I knew that when I ordered, so no offense!), which I highly recommend. Up to this moment I would've awarded 4 to 5 stars, but then the crew all of a sudden seemed to be unable to cope. I wanted another drink and asked for it three times (three different waiters!) and it never came. Same with the drinks of my friends. At least those drinks didn't show up on the bill, for which we also waited for a loong time. Shame, really, 'cause it started so well and I still recommend the chain in general.
