It's A-Okay, but nothing like Bristole Farms or Honey Bakery.... same concept though. Low key bistro, savory foods... but just doesn't quite hit the taste mark for me.
But the competition is sparse in Ranco Bernardo, so if you're in the area, this isn't a bad choice.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Vitaliy L.San Diego, Verenigde Staten22217508 feb 2009
This place replaced the St Tropez Cafe, which was great.
I didn't realize you could make food so bland and flavorless.
Eggs were bland, potatoes were bland, the bread was the best part of the meal.
Stay away.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 142700120111 jan 2010
The eggs benedict was treasonous to hollandaise sauces everywhere! The egg was cooked well enough, albeit a bit too done for more liking, but the hollandaise sauce was so sour that it made the entire dish a disaster. And the roasted potatoes were roasted alright... probably the day before! They were barely warm and borderline soggy. Not good eatins at this place.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always good. The atmosphere is nice...and many nights they have music. Just wish they had some take out pastries and items to pick up and take like San Tropez had. There are not any good bakeries around to get a nice breakfast pastry to take for work or home. The mussels and dinenr specials are very good here.
