Friendly service, ok flavors, nice enough atmosphere. Would be a solid 3 star if it wasn't for the chewy chicken. I left much of it untouched.

This restaurant is simply a gem. Quality food!! Every time. The curry soup is to die for. I think about it for weeks after our visits. Rich, perfectly seasoned and the best part is, it is so affordable. You can drink and eat here with a low budget and still get to eat quality food with large portions. The waiters are ALWAYS nice and kind. We go there at least 3-4 times a year (would go even more but we live on the other side of the city). Our daughter gets a little package of Smarties (German M&Ms) each time we go there. In the summer one can even sit outside. It is not a large place but big enough.

I also recommend their Indian beer "Cobra". It goes well with some spicy dish. Now, see....I am craving the curry soup...

Tasty and cheap South Indian cuisine. Order the vegetarian stuffed pepper and samosas; avoid the overly sweet mango bier and fried-rice style biryani.

Maybe not one of the best Indian restaurants in town, but you certainly don't regret eating here. Considering the price, the food is sensational anyway. Tandoori chicken had been served on sizzling hot rock plate. The mutton curry tasted amazing.

We just returned to Abirams for another tasty meal. The mulligatawny soup is spicy and delicious, as was the lamb saag. The kitchen is 'live' meaning that they prepare each dish to order. Highly recommend for a tasty meal at economical prices.
